"Criminal Minds" returned for its seventh season in 2011-2012, with a fresh set of disturbing and violent crimes to be solved by the FBI's elite Bahavorial Analysis Unit (BAU) and its ecclectic collection of agents. A highlight of the season was the return of profiler Emily Prentiss "from the dead", with emotional ramifications for the whole team.

The show continues to thrive on its crime-of-the-week format, as the BAU races the clock to identify and stop a violent killer or killers while saving victims. Clever plots continue to take unusual twists and turns. As in past seasons, the spotlight shifts from episode to episode among the actors in an outstanding ensemble cast, giving each a chance to lead on a case. This season has featured increased insight into the personal lives of the characters. One member of the team gets a girlfriend, another gets a marriage proposal, a third is haunted by an old case, and a fourth decides to leave the BAU. A senior supervisor goes...
This review is just for what Special Features are of this Season 7 set...
I won't go into depth of why I like this show and the synopsis of the episodes, but this review is just for the special features of the Season 7 DVD. And I'm not sure about Season 6 or the Season 5 DVD, but I know Season 7 does have subtitles. Oddly enough, it doesn't have closed captioning. While I was going through the DVDs to find the exact special features I was starting to get let down by the lack of commentaries showing up. I was hoping it wasn't a typo, but we do get two episodes with commentary. Weirdly, "It Takes a Village" and "Hit/Run" I sure would have gotten a commentary, but alas, no. And I do wanna say that most (if not, all) of the special features of subtitled, too. Which, is always a plus. Good job, CBS DVD!

This show gets better every season!!!!
I love this show. It's just something about it, which keeps me tuning in every Wednesday night for a brand new episode. Due to the subject at hand it's NOT the show for everybody, but if you are a fan of psychological thriller's this is the show for you.

"Criminal Minds" will challenge your mind every episode. It shows what it is like to get into the mind of serial killers, and with every episode we get drama, mystery, and action. These cases are twisted and eerie, and most of the time what you think is going happen, doesn't. Every show literally has me on the edge of my seat.

Pros: 1.The writing is superb
2. Every character is well defined
3. Great acting
4. Compelling cases

Cons: 1.There is none really, unless you count the season ending cliffhanger.

I won't be giving away any spoilers for those who haven't seen it, but "criminal minds" isn't like any other show on television. I highly recommend it, you will not be...

There is an awful lot to like here.
As someone who purchased the entire nine seasons of "Matlock" separately about a year ago I can heartily recommend this brand new 2015 package to anyone who enjoys this type of family-oriented entertainment. It took me about six months but I got the opportunity to enjoy once again every single episode of this highly entertaining series. What I enjoyed most about this series is that there is a minimum of violence and very little in the way of sexual innuendo. This is definitely a series that grandparents can enjoy with their grandkids. I found that as the series wore on the quality of the shows did not diminish one little bit.....even in the ninth and final season. Andy Griffith obviously enjoyed the role and it was fun to see the great Don Knotts guest star in a number of episodes. Happy with my purchase!!

I love this series!!!! I was hesitant to purchase based on several other reviews about quality, I was especially afraid I would not be able to hear shows since I do have a slight hearing problem. I have a 32" flat screen TV and a 2yr old bluray/ dvd player that are both pretty basic with no fancy upgrades. I'm almost finished with first season and have been VERY happy. Do I wish they would have cleaned up the video a bit for this new set release?? YES... Am I still enjoying this series?? ABSOLUTELY... I have no problem with audio from my regular TV speakers. I am very happy with my purchase so far and would definitely recommend this set.

Excellent new cyber crime series
This was a mid-season replacement series and we decided to watch it based on the CSI related theme. Added to that, Patricia Arquette and James Van Der Beek starring in the show really piqued my interest.

The premise of the show is that this is a special FBI team dedicated to solving cyber crimes. Special Agent Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette) heads the crew. She is a former victim of cyber crime involving the theft of information and one of her patients (in her former career) was murdered because of the stolen information. After that experience, she changed professions, joined the FBI, and has dedicated herself to solving and preventing similar crimes. Her group is made up of: Elijah Mundo (James Van Der Beek), a straight arrow FBI agent with an interesting and varied set of CSI skills; Brody Nelson (Shad Moss) a former black hat cyber criminal who is being given the chance to work with the team and escape his criminal past; Daniel Krumitz (Charley Koontz) an amazingly...

while i do like this show i believe it is a bit misleading... Where it says csi cyber they actually are fbi agents. Other that that i love the cast and the show it self.

Callen and Sam Hanna is joined by a second field team, consisting of Agent Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and LAPD detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), who are still working on their often hilarious love-hate relationship. Computer geeks Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) and Nell Jones (Renee Smith) form a third team. The mysterious Nell seems to have an additional hush-hush role as cat's paw for Hetty, and will materialize on at least one mission brandishing a firearm with unexpected skill...
NCIS: Los Angeles is so good with a great ending episode for the third season.

The third season is another winner. Daniela Rua really shines as Kensi in this season especially in the two-part episode K Blye. The truth surrounding the death of Kensi's father comes out in these two episodes and it was refreshing to see Marty Deeks serious for once in trying to help Kensi cope. I see a faint stirring of romance between these two and I'm wondering how many seasons it will take for Kensi and Deeks to acknowledge what they feel for one another.

I believe my favorite episode is Neighborhood Watch, where Marty and Kensi go undercover as a newlywed couple in a neighborhood, trying to discover a hidden spy cell. Funny and yet serious. I highly recommend this third season for all NCIS fans.

Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J are great as well. These actors on this show are the best, especially Linda Hunt at Hetty.

One of my favorite crime shows

I have always loved NCIS LA since it fist aired but here recently I have really been into it. I have the first, second and fourth seasons. But the third one had been hard to find... I got it for $13 and it came in great condition.. I got the two day shipping and it arrived on time!!! Thanks so much..

season three...better than ever
i have to say i was leery about season three when i heard mandy patinkin was leaving. but my fears were for nothing. season three is probably my favorite yet. it has many strong episodes, tries new things (true night, one of my favorites) and gives us a peek into garcia's life in several riveting episodes.

i don't care about rossi the way i cared about gideon, but he's a good character and i'm glad he's not a carbon copy of jason. the team works together very well and season three shows that cm is more of an ensemble show now...which i very much enjoy.

as usual, cm has excellent supporting actors in every episode, riveting story lines, and makes fantastic use of background music choices. i can't wait to buy season three, and i'm looking forward to season 4. season three is especially worthwhile to see how much doctor spencer reid has changed and grown from season one. highly recommended.

They keep you wanting for more!
I enjoyed very much the first two seasons. But when I read that Mandy Patinkin had left the show I was disappointed and thought that was the end of Criminal Minds. I was so wrong! And don't get me wrong, he was a great asset being the character they most turned to for advise in all areas of the psyque. Joe Mantegna is more likable -sorry Mandy- and though he was brought to the show almost abruptly, they show you how he adapts gradually to everybody and the new way things are done at the BAU since he had been part of it when it began. Throughout the season, Joe Mantegna integrates the team like a piece of a puzzle that didn't quite fit was removed and placed by the perfect one, and now I see that the show will not only survive it's leading character but will do better with the new one.

Now, the plot. Unfortunately, there are so many sick in this world that they will never run out of new ideas for a show. Every episode is good, has new twists, and some episodes are even...

Another cracking season of criminal minds, brilliant program.
Only 1 small criticism. The review on the website (and to be, fair the back of the dvd) state this dvd has English subtitles. I find sometimes the characters say things quickly or quietly and you miss important bits and have to repeatedly rewind. Don't be fooled. There are no subtitles on this dvd!!
Anyway, other than that, this season is excellent, with some interesting twists on the bad guys. Well worth the money.

My favorite television show...until this season
HATED to give Criminal Minds anything but a 5 star review. I have loved this show from the very first episode. The casting on this show has always been top notch, especially since it's been a bit of a revolving door. I don't know if Paget Brewster (Emily Prentiss) decided to leave the show or if they made a serious blunder by getting rid of her...much as they did when they didn't renew J.J.'s contract, but the show REALLY took a turn for the worse this year. They could have saved it with some great casting, but I seriously DO NOT like the Jeanne Tripplehorn character!! Maybe a decent actress could have done a better job, but I doubt it. She does not fit in with the group, could not be more boring to watch and whenever she's on I tend to zone out and have actually walked away from TV when she's on. This is something I have never done in the previous 7 seasons, I am usually on the edge of my seat through each episode. I love this show so much and hate that they are starting...

Criminal Minds is the best, especially instantly from Amazon!

This was a great episode, I almost didn't recognize Kim Wayans or McKenzie Phillips, they were great. However I miss Emily, The new girl is good, but she's not Emily Prentiss, I love the show because they have strong women that don't have to show skin to get notice or play super cop women, they seem real. I was happy that they brought JJ back. I like agent Hotchter.

There's no doubt that NCIS is slick, entertaining prime-time television in every respect: writing, acting, production values, music, and so on. Still, one's appreciation of the show largely depends on the characters' likeability, and that's very much a matter of taste. Gibbs may be a chick magnet, with four former wives and a past relationship with Shepard to prove it, but he's also a taciturn fellow with horrible social skills. DiNozzo's funny and insouciant, but his smugness and incessant razzing of computer nerd Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) soon becomes tiresome, while Shepard is steely and simply unlikeable (the most appealing characters are arguably McCallum's Mallard and Pauley Perrette's mouthy Abby Sciuto, the goth-like forensic expert). NCIS Season 5--Beneath The Surface...
There has been a pattern in the writing of NCIS that has always been fascinating. Ever since "Bete Noire" in Season 1, this series has always used it's season finale to essentially set up the next season's finale. "Bete Noire" introduced Ari Haswari. In the finale to Season 1, Jethro Gibbs shot Ari to cover Haswari's double agent status--though Gibbs would have preferred to kill Ari. Because Ari wasn't killed at the end of Season 1, he was able to murder Kate Todd at the end of Season 2. Because Ari shot Kate at the end of Season 2--and more importantly, WHY he chose to murder her--we were able to get the backstory of Gibbs revealed, the tragedy surrounding his first wife and daughter, which culminated with Jethro leaving the MTAC at the end of Season 3. Because of Gibbs' "retirement", NCIS Director Jenny Shepard was able to initiate her off-the-books operation against Rene Benoit, using Tony DiNozzo to romance La Grenouille's daughter Jeanne.
So as we get into Season 5,...
Shock after Shock
A late comer to NCIS, I discovered the series by accident at the rental store. I had to watch everything they owned, then bought all the seasons they didn't have. Fifth season was one of best. Even though this season was shorter (only 18 episodes due to the writer's strike) it had all the character banter that makes this series fun. Whether its Gibbs one liners, Tony's womanizing, Ziva's seriousness, Jennie's obsession, McGeek's incredible wizardry with a computer (and a cameo with an Iron Fist comic book to boot), or Abbey's incredible energy, this series just brings the relationships between these characters to life. Somehow you come to care about them deeper than you do with other series. Perhaps its because the writer's have snuck so many surprises through the series, or perhaps its because the creators don't insult the intelligence of the viewer and include references to episodes from the very beginning of the series, or maybe its because the actors are having so much fun,...
Great Series!

As the titles states, this is a great series. One of the largest factors that separates NCIS from other crime dramas is that the characters are so dynamic. It details enough about their backgrounds while still sticking to the crime busting plot. And as shown from the previous seasons, the series continues to bring up situations that makes it different from the Law and Order, new crime everyday type. If you love crime dramas or even just think they are OK then you will really enjoy this series!

When I first heard of NCIS, my immediate reaction was, "Oh no, not another investigative show!" Programs such as CSI, Cold Case, and Without a Trace have never impressed me; I find many of the characters bland, and though the cases themselves may be good, it's a show's cast that sells it for me.

Luckily, NCIS does the opposite: the formula comprises of characters first, crime second, and the show is embedded with such wit and humor that it's hard not to like it. The cast includes sarcastic Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon); ladies-man Tony DiNozzo (the highly attractive Michael Weatherly); witty Kate Todd (Sasha Alexander) to provide amusing banter with Tony; goth Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette); and M.E. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), who has a passion for storytelling. Season two also adds probational officer ("probie") Tim McGee (played by Sean Murray) as a new agent to the team. (McGee guest starred in a number of episodes in season one as well.)

My introduction to NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service came last spring as I watched several episodes of the third season with my wife and mother-in-law. I've enjoyed the program immensely, and with the DVD releases of Seasons One and Two, I have been able to do some catching up watching the show's earlier episodes.

The series follows a team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which handles crimes connected to personnel of the United States Navy and Marine Corps, ranging from murder and kidnapping to espionage and terrorism. Created by Donald Bellisario (Quantum Leap, JAG), NCIS originally began as a two-part episode of JAG in the spring of 2003. The program then debuted on CBS as a stand-alone series in September of that same year.

Returning cast members from Season One include Mark Harmon stars as special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, the no-nonsense leader of the NCIS team. Gibbs' teammates include former Secret Service...
You snooze - you lose!

This show is a hoot! The stories move along at a fast pace and so does the banter between the main characters. For me, character development is everything - I buy into these wonderful performances completely. Pay attention or you'll lose out on the wonderfully quick dialog. Clearly, one the best shows on television.

Suggestion: the production company should include subtitles with future NCIS releases.

That storyline, barely touched on thereafter, is resolved in the 14th episode, "Internal Affairs." Meanwhile, the NCIS crew is distracted by an array of other cases, most of them involving murder. Of particular interest are several episodes related to Iraq and the War on Terror: a Naval officer of Syrian descent who's suspected of being an Al Qaeda mole is murdered seconds after Gibbs talks him out of jumping off a building ledge; a Marine who's having a violent bout of post-traumatic stress after returning from the Mideast turns out to be far worse off than that; Medical Examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum) refuses to conduct an autopsy because of the deceased's Muslim beliefs.

There's no doubt that NCIS is slick, entertaining prime-time television in every respect: writing, acting, production values, music, and so on. Still, one's appreciation of the show largely depends on the characters' likeability, and that's very much a matter of taste. Gibbs may be a chick magnet, with four former wives and a past relationship with Shepard to prove it, but he's also a taciturn fellow with horrible social skills. DiNozzo's funny and insouciant, but his smugness and incessant razzing of computer nerd Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) soon becomes tiresome, while Shepard is steely and simply unlikeable (the most appealing characters are arguably McCallum's Mallard and Pauley Perrette's mouthy Abby Sciuto, the goth-like forensic expert). NCIS Season 5--Beneath The Surface...
There has been a pattern in the writing of NCIS that has always been fascinating. Ever since "Bete Noire" in Season 1, this series has always used it's season finale to essentially set up the next season's finale. "Bete Noire" introduced Ari Haswari. In the finale to Season 1, Jethro Gibbs shot Ari to cover Haswari's double agent status--though Gibbs would have preferred to kill Ari. Because Ari wasn't killed at the end of Season 1, he was able to murder Kate Todd at the end of Season 2. Because Ari shot Kate at the end of Season 2--and more importantly, WHY he chose to murder her--we were able to get the backstory of Gibbs revealed, the tragedy surrounding his first wife and daughter, which culminated with Jethro leaving the MTAC at the end of Season 3. Because of Gibbs' "retirement", NCIS Director Jenny Shepard was able to initiate her off-the-books operation against Rene Benoit, using Tony DiNozzo to romance La Grenouille's daughter Jeanne.

Shock after Shock
A late comer to NCIS, I discovered the series by accident at the rental store. I had to watch everything they owned, then bought all the seasons they didn't have. Fifth season was one of best. Even though this season was shorter (only 18 episodes due to the writer's strike) it had all the character banter that makes this series fun. Whether its Gibbs one liners, Tony's womanizing, Ziva's seriousness, Jennie's obsession, McGeek's incredible wizardry with a computer (and a cameo with an Iron Fist comic book to boot), or Abbey's incredible energy, this series just brings the relationships between these characters to life. Somehow you come to care about them deeper than you do with other series. Perhaps its because the writer's have snuck so many surprises through the series, or perhaps its because the creators don't insult the intelligence of the viewer and include references to episodes from the very beginning of the series, or maybe its because the actors are having so much fun,...
Great Series!

As the titles states, this is a great series. One of the largest factors that separates NCIS from other crime dramas is that the characters are so dynamic. It details enough about their backgrounds while still sticking to the crime busting plot. And as shown from the previous seasons, the series continues to bring up situations that makes it different from the Law and Order, new crime everyday type. If you love crime dramas or even just think they are OK then you will really enjoy this series!

NCIS is one of those hidden gems you always hunt for and so rarely find. A great ensemble cast headed by Mark Harmon (as special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs) makes the whole show look so effortless. As with his other productions, Donald Bellisario has created a great group of characters who are so down-to-earth that you immediately see them as almost real. The stories can be far-fetched on occasion, but the real interest in the show is the cast of characters. Ably supported by Michael Wetherly (as Agent Tony DiNozzo), Pauly Perrette (as forensic expert Abby Sciuto) Cote de Pablo (as Mossad Agent Ziva David) Sean Murray (as Agent Timothy McGee), Lauren Holly (as Director Jenny Shepard), and David McCallum (as Medical Examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard) Harmon acts as team leader and sometimes, stern father to the younger agents under his command.

NCIS Season 3--Who IS Jethro Gibbs?
It was rough enough for the fans of NCIS to lose Kate Todd by having Ari Haswari snipe her at the end of Season 2. So, starting Season 3 off by showing Kate's murder from Ari's POV is a little rougher. But the two episodes that start off Season 3 of NCIS--the two part "Kill Ari" episodes--really bring up a subject in this series that hadn't been fully fleshed out. Obviously, these two episodes allow the regular characters to come to grips with the loss of Kate--the irony of Kate's ghost talking to Ducky and Ducky not talking back to the ghost, the overall story of how the survivors all see Kate. McGee seeing a superwoman, Abby seeing Elvira, Tony being Tony in seeing Kate (That schoolgirl outfit), and Gibbs seeing Kate as he last saw her--with a hole between her eyes. Just as obviously, "Kill Ari" allows for the introduction of Cote De Pablo's Ziva David, the Mossad/Masada agent liased to NCIS in the wake of Kate's death and Lauren Holly's Jenny Sheppard--Gibbs' former...
Great show, don't you think

This series has been a class act from the first season. The proof of depth in this show is the loss of a major character at the end of the second season and replacement in the third. This is a great example of an ensemble cast. The actors have created believeable characters. Dialogue sounds like real conversation. Couple this with some really tight writing spiced with some fine humor and you have some excellent television. Story threads run through episodes giving a greater sense of continuity but it is not necessary to view in strict order. I have both season 1 and 2 and look forward to the release of season 3 with great anticipation.

Too Complicated, But the Magic is There
Called the "Season of Secrets" by the producers of the series, NCIS SEASON 4 actually turned out much more complicated than most of the actors, writers, directors, and fans wanted it to be. For the first time, the series sought to build ongoing storylines that would elevate NCIS to a soap opera level that wasn't much appreciated.

The season was too busy. Too much plotting demanded watching every episode in sequence rather than casually dropping in for entertainment. Even with devoted attendance instead of a casual approach, these extended storylines took far too long to develop.

I got irritated and impatient with all the split plotlines and romances. When I watch the crimes shows I keep up with, I depend on them to be entertaining and intriguing, but not to the point that I have to keep notes. I didn't watch HEROES in its first season run for this very reason, and it's also why I abdicate 24. I picked those shows up in DVD and squander weekends of marathon...
Don Bellisarius does it again.

What can be said? Another great show from the creator of Magnum P.I. I regret that I didn't start watching this show until midway through the third season.ell, I now own the first three seasons on DVD, and I'm chomping at the bit waiting for season 4 to come out. Great writing, wonderful characters, incredible directing. As a general rule, I despise most TV, but I cannot say enough good things about NCIS. It's a real standout.

NCIS just keeps growing better

The fourth season is a great continuation of this fantastic series. The writing has remained consistently great. Well written plots, with great dialogue make for a good show. It is the development of the characters that separates this from other good shows. As real people do, these characters grow and change with their experiences. This season started with a bang, literally. This season also contained more story arcs that run through the season and collide together at the cliffhanger. Always entertaining with plenty of action and drama, but also full of humor, NCIS is simply great.

NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), a former Marine gunnery sergeant, whose skills as an investigator are unmatched, formerly led this troupe of colorful personalities. The team includes NCIS Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), an ex-homicide detective who may come off as the world's oldest frat boy, but whose instincts in the field are unparalleled; forensic specialist Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), a talented scientist whose dark wit matches her Goth style and eclectic tastes, NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), an MIT graduate whose brilliance with computers far overshadows his insecurities in the field and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), a former Moussad agent who shares a bond with Gibbs over the death of his arch nemesis, Ari, the terrorist who killed former NCIS Special Agent Kate Todd. Assisting the team is medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), who knows it all because he's seen it all, and he's not afraid to let you know. Rounding out the team is NCIS director Jennifer Shepard (Lauren Holly) who has a romantic history with Gibbs. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents travel the globe to investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties.With two solid seasons already banked, NCIS returns for a compelling third year with exciting plotlines and a slightly tweaked cast. The show's second season ended with the brutal and shocking death of Caitlin Todd (Sasha Alexander). The first two episodes of this season deal with the aftermath of bringing her killer to justice and examining the emotional impact of her loss on the remaining members of the NCIS team, which is led by Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon). The six-disc set includes all 24 episodes, which aired on CBS during 2005-2006. Returning are happy-go-lucky ladies' man Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly, Dark Angel), forensics expert and resident Goth chick Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum, The Man from U.N.C.L.E), and agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray). Former Mossad intelligence officer Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) joins the close-knit cast, as does Jennifer Shepard (Lauren Holly, Dumb & Dumber) as the new NCIS director. Working on a daily basis with Shepard initially makes Gibbs wary. Not only is she a former girlfriend, but she also was his underling at one time. Equal parts CSI and JAG, NCIS works primarily because of its quirky cast, which is able to take sometimes regurgitated ideas and rework them into something engagingly watchable. Throughout this season, we will see agents endangered and framed, and one will accidentally kill an undercover detective who may not have been armed. But the explosive two-part season finale will finally shed light on Gibbs' painful history and help explain why he is who is he today. --Jae-Ha Kim

A Great Show
NCIS is one of those hidden gems you always hunt for and so rarely find. A great ensemble cast headed by Mark Harmon (as special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs) makes the whole show look so effortless. As with his other productions, Donald Bellisario has created a great group of characters who are so down-to-earth that you immediately see them as almost real. The stories can be far-fetched on occasion, but the real interest in the show is the cast of characters. Ably supported by Michael Wetherly (as Agent Tony DiNozzo), Pauly Perrette (as forensic expert Abby Sciuto) Cote de Pablo (as Mossad Agent Ziva David) Sean Murray (as Agent Timothy McGee), Lauren Holly (as Director Jenny Shepard), and David McCallum (as Medical Examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard) Harmon acts as team leader and sometimes, stern father to the younger agents under his command.

NCIS Season 3--Who IS Jethro Gibbs?
It was rough enough for the fans of NCIS to lose Kate Todd by having Ari Haswari snipe her at the end of Season 2. So, starting Season 3 off by showing Kate's murder from Ari's POV is a little rougher. But the two episodes that start off Season 3 of NCIS--the two part "Kill Ari" episodes--really bring up a subject in this series that hadn't been fully fleshed out. Obviously, these two episodes allow the regular characters to come to grips with the loss of Kate--the irony of Kate's ghost talking to Ducky and Ducky not talking back to the ghost, the overall story of how the survivors all see Kate. McGee seeing a superwoman, Abby seeing Elvira, Tony being Tony in seeing Kate (That schoolgirl outfit), and Gibbs seeing Kate as he last saw her--with a hole between her eyes. Just as obviously, "Kill Ari" allows for the introduction of Cote De Pablo's Ziva David, the Mossad/Masada agent liased to NCIS in the wake of Kate's death and Lauren Holly's Jenny Sheppard--Gibbs' former...
Great show, don't you think

This series has been a class act from the first season. The proof of depth in this show is the loss of a major character at the end of the second season and replacement in the third. This is a great example of an ensemble cast. The actors have created believeable characters. Dialogue sounds like real conversation. Couple this with some really tight writing spiced with some fine humor and you have some excellent television. Story threads run through episodes giving a greater sense of continuity but it is not necessary to view in strict order. I have both season 1 and 2 and look forward to the release of season 3 with great anticipation.
