But in the non-Sideways world, the bomb's detonation doesn't change their course, and the survivors find themselves delving deeper into the island's mythology--notably, the yin/yang of the demigod Jacob (Mark Pellegrino) and the smoke monster, a.k.a. the Man in Black (Titus Welliver), as well as some curious denizens of a temple (a subplot that doesn't add much to driving the story forward). As the smoke monster's scheme to escape the island leaves a trail of carnage, culminating in a face-off with that other villain Charles Widmore (Alan Dale), some primary characters meet their end in season 6 while others find the redemption they'd been seeking since the series began. Moreover, some survivors finally find out their connection to the island (and each other) when the two realities start to intermingle, leading to a tearful finale that satisfies and frustrates at the same time (though when it comes to Lost, what else is new?).

While each cast member is on their "A" game, the final episodes really belong to Matthew Fox, who received his first Emmy® nomination for this season. Nestor Carbonell is also a standout in "Ab Aeterno," an episode that finally explains the ageless Richard Alpert. In addition, a few small details are wrapped up in a bonus short, "The New Man in Charge," which serves as an epilogue. Other special features include "The End: Crafting a Final Season," which interviews legendary TV producers such as James Burrows (Cheers, Friends) on the pressures of wrapping up a series. It also shows the finale script being printed out on red paper (so it can't be copied) and delivered to a specially built locked mailbox outside Jorge Garcia's home. Garcia, who plays Hurley, is then seen reading the script for the first time and weeping. "See You in Another Life, Brotha" goes deeper into the flash-sideways storytelling; "Lost on Location" highlights behind-the-scenes action behind specific episodes; the always-hilarious "Lost in 8:15" wraps up the entire series (only through season 5) in eight minutes and 15 seconds; and "A Hero's Journey" is a ho-hum set of interviews examining the heroic arcs of several major characters. Bloopers and deleted scenes round out the bonus features. But with all the lingering questions in the series, it's a shame Lindelof and Cuse didn't add commentary to more than a handful of episodes, because this is one DVD set that sure could've used it (not having any commentary on the finale is near unforgivable). You do, however, learn that the black-and-white stones game played by Jacob and the Man in Black is actually called Senate (hey, you gotta take what you can get). Why the End of LOST was perfect....
Why the end of LOST not only worked, but was truthfully the most fitting conclusion the writer's could have given us...

LOST is one of the most important television programs in the history of syndicated story telling. Period. Genre-bending, ground-breaking, budget-busting, gloriously epic both in terms of character development and the scope of it's intricately-woven, mystery-laced narrative, LOST is the most unique television show ever produced. This note is me finally attempting to put down in words what the end of LOST really meant, and why it is the most satisfying ending fans could have ever hoped for.
It has been 1 year and 7 months to the day since LOST ended its six-year run on ABC. During that time-period I have watched the entire show over, and had time to really let my thoughts and feelings sink in. I have moved past the point where I believed the show was perfect in every way, and have achieved a new, and even deeper appreciation for what was done...
Epic Fail.

Worst ending to a TV series ever. Lost revolutionized the way I watch TV - and not in a good way. For six years I rode the wave of cliff hangers, Easter eggs, mysteries and awesome WTF moments, always believing we were building towards a solid ending. Instead the characters I loved were manipulated and twisted so many times as to be hardly recognisable, and the mysteries of the island, time travel reoccurring numbers and disappearing cabins all became a big fat pile of red herrings. I can't imagine ever wanting to re-watch the series when I now know that 90% of what I watch has no meaning whatsoever.

Good Ending, Bad Season, Flawless Bluray.
Well, I'm not gonna debate about the ending of the series, I think it was heavily misunderstood, as a hardcore fan I think it was satisfactory, "what happened happened" and we get to FINALLY see Jack doing what we were waiting for, the faith of most of the characters was satisfactory (with a few exceptions) and we got most answers, not all, which I think was a good move from the writers.

Certainly my problem is with the whole season's flash-sideways, which after seeing the season finale, seems pointless and a little bit of a joke, I wish the season had been way shorter or that we got less flashes and more Island. Also even tough we get a lot of answers, some of them are shown in a very simple or even boring way, the final 4 or 5 episodes are gold, the others, seem like filler to me.

Now, there are no complaints for the Bluray edition of this season, the picture and sound quality it's superb, I tought I was gonna have a hard time watching the episodes which I...

Jesse Stone is so much better on these DVD's than on the chopped up versions they showed on TV! My wife and I hunkered down on the sofa under a blanket with Cokes and popcorn one cold Saturday and watched the ENTIRE series all at once!

The case includes slots for the upcoming bluray release of Jurassic World for both 2D and 3D. The digital copy is a nice touch as well. It allows you to sync the ultraviolet copy to a number of video streaming services such as VUDU and FLIXTER. It also allows you to add to your itunes library. Would highly recommend!

Lost World needs work.

Pretty decent. Nice package. The extra slots for Jurassic World is pretty cool. The transfer for Jurassic Park 2 was pretty bad though.
It just didn't look good compared to the other two.

Jesse is doing his best to continue his ascent from a depression and drinking problem that began years earlier after his divorce. But even though he's often quick with a quip and carries the charismatic appeal of Tom Selleck-ness wherever he goes, watching Innocents Lost is not the way to spend an evening if you're looking to cheer yourself up. Jesse is still friendly with his former cop colleagues (the excellent Kathy Baker and Kohl Sudduth), but not so much with the new chief, who's been installed primarily based on nepotism (his father-in-law is the president of the town council). He's also still doing some contract work for the Massachusetts State Police homicide squad and his pal Commander Healy (Stephen McHattie), is again palling around with the shady underworld boss Gino Fish (William Sadler), and is back talking to the grizzled psychotherapist Dr. Dix (William Devane). All these excellent supporting character actors add to the superb creative qualities of a story weaving two mysteries that Jesse becomes involved with: the suspicious death of a young girl he helped out a few years earlier, and the questionable guilt of a Boston murder suspect that Healy believes is being prosecuted in error. Jesse handily solves both cases, but the successes do not make him any happier. Neither does a casual affair with the gorgeous secretary of his pal and former nemesis Hasty Hathaway (Gloria Reuben and Saul Rubinek, both also first-rate). Even his loveable golden retriever Reggie can't snap him out of his depressive fog. Tom Selleck Is Jesse Stone--The Seventh Outing In Television's Most Introspective Crime Drama Series
Following 2010's "No Remorse," Tom Selleck returns (and shares a writing credit) for the latest installment of the Jesse Stone saga in "Innocents Lost." In this, the seventh outing, Selleck is more world weary and introspective than usual. I don't know that there has ever been a serialized crime drama that is so reliant on quiet moments and character contemplation. And, in truth, it is this moody thoughtfulness that has really made this series of movies strikingly unique in the modern television landscape. Lacking hysterics and over-the-top action set pieces, the Jesse Stone series is a quietly compelling throw-back to when stories and people mattered more than special effects. And, as always, the icing on the cake is the pitch perfect Tom Selleck who paints Jesse as both lovable and excruciatingly frustrating. I, personally, think that Stone is Selleck's best role--it is no wonder that he has revived him seven times.

"Innocents Lost" really breaks no new ground, just...
Fans deserve a medal.
Fans of this serious deserve a medal for being the most patient fans on the planet. Most fans have had to resort to DVD supplements (or the Hallmark Channel) to even catch all the installments. Luckily places like Office Depot and big chain Grocery Stores carry most of the DVD's cheap. CBS hasn't been very helpful, the first two episodes were aired in reverse order and the latest two episodes (parts 6 and 7) put on a shelf for over a year while negotiating with Tom Selleck to do the TV series BLUE BLOODS. Part 6 ultimately aired with little fanfare in a terrible time slot and Part 7 finally found a decent home (and will be released on DVD August 2nd, probably). Even if you were able to catch all of them on TV the time period between films was pretty lengthy to remember some of the plot points in the continuing story line. The 6th film, SEA CHANGE, for example, the one that sat on the shelf and then given a bad time slot, brought back guest characters from all the previous...
This series gets better with age!
Tom Selleck IS Jesse Stone! 'Innocents Lost' brought the characters together and, I believe, more relaxed in their roles, like old shoes that finally fit after a few stretches of the leather. Please, don't throw them away, because we want more Jesse Stone and Co.! Joe the Dog steals the show! Even he is beginning to show his age with a little graying around his muzzle.

The story is strong, subtle and makes you want more. Stone, now retired, is still seeking justice for a crime that will, probably, never be solved. The new Chief doesn't get much air-time, which is a good thing! Rose's character is getting stronger, but still vulnerable. She walks the line and delivers for Stone. Suits is more settled and endearing. Thankfully, for me, there is only one short phone call between 'the ex' and Jesse. The ending is oustanding!

This left many episodes at various stages of development that have now been completed to form the final season, "The Lost Missions", which would eventually air on March 07, 2014 through Netflix.

An Excellent but Bittersweet Send-Off
Season Six of The Clone Wars is a great addendum to what was/is a fabulous television series!

Katie Lucas makes her glorious return in the first arc, which I consider to be the best of the season. It's a very personal and exhilarating story about one of the characters without a set future (a common tension killer in show that serves as a prequel) which keeps the tension and the stakes high.

The Clovis arc is a holdover from Season Five but fits just as well here. It's really fascinating to take a look at Anakin and Padme's relationship in a more intricate way than we've seen in the past.

The Jar Jar arc is a lot of fun (once you get past the Gungan-speak) and contains some of the most beautiful animation in the entire series. The Bardottan culture is definitely one to remember and the duology will remind you why you want to read Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir afterwards (NO Maul appearance; just watch).

The entire series was great, and these last 13 episodes

I watched all the seasons back to back (Bought the complete Blu Ray set here, and then watched this season (Season 6) on Netflix. The entire series was great, and these last 13 episodes, in my opinion, were the best of the series. It's unfortunate it came to an end, but these last episodes were definitely not just a throw together wrap up. They had some of the best story arcs, and visuals, of the entire series. While several arcs in the first 5 seasons, sometimes felt like they could drag a bit, or felt like "fillers", This last set kept you wanting to just watch "one more" before ending your marathon (I ended up watching the entire 13 episodes in one Saturday, and wishing there were more).

Although I'm sad it's over, this was a great ending to a great series.

Excellent Season
This seasons twists and turns have renewed my interest and respect for Lost. There were no fillers due to the (mostly planned) reduced episode count and even with the writer's strike it was a solid season. There were really only 2 hours lost to the writer's strike anyway, which ABC has stated they will "give back" by giving 1 extra hour to the next 2 seasons. The quality of the show this season more than made up for the reduced episode count.

It was interesting in the final show of the 3rd season to see Jack's focus change (seen in a flash forward) from getting off the island to getting back on it. This season was spent giving a set up to the reason why without really answering the question but creating enough suspense to make it worth finding out...next season I hope. This season is about who gets off the island (the Oceanic 6, as they're called) and how, and a bit about what they're going to do back in the real world. Lost has had its up's and down's, particularly during a sub-par second season and a drawn out third season, but after the jaw-dropping ending of the third season, Lost is back on top. For those that haven't seen some of the episodes featured in the fourth season of Lost, be warned that some spoilers are ahead here. With rescue seeming to be in sight, things get even more complicated as a group of strangers (Jeremy Davies, Ken Leung, Rebecca Mader, and Jeff Fahey) make their way to the island, and they're not all there to save anyone. LOST Season 4 on Blu-ray is not only beautiful but packed with extras! AWESOME!
LOST Season 4 started off with a bang. In the final episode of Season 3, we see Jack finally getting an opportunity to go back home but having that opportunity being taken away from him. We see the Others attack the camp of where the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 were staying but most of all, a significant death of a main character. But what was even more surprising for everyone was to see Jack and Kate several years in the future. With Jack telling Kate that they need to go back.

This left fans with a significant hint that there are survivors who made it off the island. But who were they? Also, who will be rescuing the survivors or more like, are they even there to save them?

There are so many things that happened in Season 4 that it would be too difficult to explain but I can tell you that the whole season was exciting and despite the writer's strike possibly hindering the amount of episodes in the season, "LOST" was able to capitalize with quality over...

I found Thomas to be way too over-the-top obnoxious in this one. My kids still liked it, though so I guess that's all that matters.
